Fear. It's a wonderful thing, isn't it? Yeah. Wonderful as bird poop.
"So, Kali," you may ask, "What are YOU afraid of?"
Well, I'll tell you now. I hate big spiders or snakes. I don't know why...I've just been freaked about by them since I was little. I also have a fear of heights. It's not as bad as when I was younger. If I was in a high building and I looked out the window, I would get really dizzy. I guess I don't like heights because I'm afraid I'll fall or something. (I KNOW...I'm a freak...) I guess this is the same for a lot of people, but I'm afraid of kidnappers and stuff. I don't really have to explain this one, do I...? Good.
Okay...uh...what else should I say...oh right. I'm afraid of death. It's so weird. Sometimes I freak out (as usual) when I go to bed, wondering if I will wake up in the morning. Uggg. Luckily that doesn't happen a lot (THANK GOD!!!!!!) Totally like a living nightmare.

texting is very weird
I text. Not every second of the day, and not everyone i know, either. Only one person, really. (laynie) And she doesn't even go to my school. in fact, she lives 300 miles away from me. And when we text, we say (type?) weird things. Here's a conversation we had a few weeks ago.
Laynie: i miss u 2 homie!
Me: Since when am i ur homie?
Laynie: since i decided u were my homie.
Me: o so i guess ur my homie 2.
Laynie: sweet :-)
yeah. pretty weird. but thats not saying much cuz we are weird people.

journal entry: Sublime to Ridiculous
hi guyz, this is my first journal entry...enjoy!
Texting. Many people know this is what I eat, breathe, and practically live by (ahem.) Still, I know some people think that texting is overrated. As my parents would say, "just pick up the home phone and call your friends!!!" well I don't call my friends. i text them. Why? because it's faster! But faster doesn't always mean better. Texting is like emailing on the road. And it's on a phone. What's the point? And you actually have to pay per message (at least with my plan I have to), unlike with email it's totally free.
For some reason people (cough cough) think it's totally cool to walk around and text people. (Actually I don't do that all the time...) The strangest thing is that people text at school when half the time their friends are in their classes! What's up with that? You can always talk to your friend after class. And did you know if you text a lot with your phone near your stomach you could have a kind of cancer?
(Trust me, I haven't texted during class. If you're in my English class, you would probably know that about 1 out of 30 every people text in class...I think.) But if you text during class and are caught, then people still think that's cool, since it makes a big point to everyone in the room that they have a CELL PHONE! You might as well tell it to the entire world...I wouldn't.
So really, texting isn't that great. (ahem) It's kinda strange, but people do it every day. It's enjoyable, but it still has risks. (Like texting in class)

my day. haha.
Today was pretty strange. well every day is strange, but today was worse. 1st period was fine, but in 2nd period (science) we were working on this new project about crystals. So my table and another table were talking about the elementary schools we used to go to, and how one school went to San Diego in 5th grade. (ug, I'm jealous.) And then one guy started talking about Shamu, but he didn't pronounce it the right way and he said "She moos". Anyways, it was really funny and everyone started saying "She moos" for the rest of the period.
Okay, now lets talk about my BFF. She thinks I walk down stairs really weirdly. I never noticed it until she told me. apparently i walk by putting my feet sideways but Im still facing forwards??? she likes to tease me about it...and she did it again today. and you know on my profile i said "I can tell time unlike SOME PEOPLE"...yeah...it's an inside joke. It's pretty funny, too.
Thats basically the weirdest parts of my day. There were others, but I can't type them without laughing my butt off!! Especially in English...hahahahahaha....I'll tell that part tomorrow. Byeeeeeeee
