the 1920s and me

so in social studies the other day our class started a unit on the 1920s. It's pretty cool...but then...we learned about FLAPPERS!!!!!!! On Tuesday we were working on a vocabulary sheet for the unit and we had to look up "flapper" in the dictionary and it said: "A bold, unconventional young woman." Then the next thing I knew was that someone said "Kali's a flapper!!" Then everyone else said "Kali's a flapper!!!" So I asked the guy "Why am I a flapper?" and he said, "Because you wear shorts!!" I told Maddy that today, and she said that is not a very good reason. That's like telling someone they're weird for getting an A on a test.

now I'm known as Kali the flapper. Wow. That's just strange.
